I passed through Moate on the way to Galway and met a boy painted green who asked me the time outside SuperMac's. He said 'What there be the time directly?'. I suppose I could have said 'Obviously it's St Patricks Day in Ireland!' but I gave him the time and he rode off with his green haired mate down the desolate street in this pitstop off the motorway.
